“THERMAL BATHS OF LARES”

Located in the department of the City of Cusco, Province of Calca and District of the same name Lares, about 150km (93 miles) from the city and 3,150 m.a.s.l. (10,334 ft).

The Lares Hot Springs are a very popular attraction for the population of Cusco, since the area where it is located and protected by the mountains of our Eastern Andes, and the waters range between 36°C and 44°C (97°F and 111°F), product of the rocky outcrop of volcanic origin, known highly recommended for its hot waters, medicinal properties and therapeutic relief for different muscular, rheumatic and gastric problems, among others, since its waters contain different minerals such as sodium, chloride, magnesium, potassium, sulfates, bicarbonates, manganese, iron, zinc, copper and others, which make its waters yellow in color.

ANDINA AMAZÓNICA, takes you to know this attraction, a favorite among the local population because of the natural landscapes, the rural people, the cultivated fields and because it is a perfect scenery for relaxation and of course the photographic shots.

Details

At approximately 06.00a.m. we pick you up from your hotel in our private transportation to travel towards the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the average travel time from Cusco to Calca (where our tourist destination is located) is 1 hour, we make a stop at the town’s food market to do some shopping for our day. Then we continue the journey in our transport from the town of Calca to the Lares Valley for another hour and a half of travel.

Finally arriving to the Lares Valley, we will go to the thermal baths where we can enjoy the wonderful hot waters of the place, relax our muscles, de-stress and renew our spirit.

In the afternoon and after enjoying the hot springs, we return to the town of Lares where we have lunch and then board our transport to return to the city of Cusco, arriving at approximately 17.00hrs.
